All About Reiki
Reiki, pronounced "ray-key", is a gentle, hands-on energy system that is over 2,500 years old.
Reiki energy supports the body's natural ability to heal itself physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Reiki is a relaxing, soothing energy which promotes growth, stress reduction, balance, and well being. Reiki bolsters the immune system, making it an effective preventive health system.
Mentally: Reiki energy can assist a person in releasing negative thoughts, attitudes, and old, limiting thought patterns. It can assist in helping people gain greater insight and self-awareness.
Physically: Reiki energy supports and accelerates the body's natural ability to heal itself. It helps to reduce pain, cleanses the body of toxins, balances and harmonizes the entire energy body.
Emotionally: Reiki energy can help people look at their emotional responses to the people and circumstances in their life and release negative emotions that don't support their desire for growth or a mindfully-driven life.
Spiritually: Reiki energy allows you to experience the feeling of the calm, peace, unconditional acceptance and love, and the knowing that you are supported by spirit—in whatever belief or practice you have.

How to Prepare for a Session
What to wear? You are encouraged to wear something comfortable, such as sweats or other loose fitting clothing.
What to do before you come for a session? We recommend that you refrain from caffeine for two hours prior to your session. Please, do not use alcohol or recreational drugs before a session. If you are a smoker, please do not smoke before a session.
We are very sensitive to scents, so please remember not to wear perfumes, scented aftershave, or other scented hair grooming products to your Reiki session.
What to Expect During a Reiki Session
Reiki is deeply relaxing...
Reiki allows your body to relax at such a deep level that your body is able to repair itself, leaving you with a profound feeling of peace and well-being.
A session usually lasts between an hour and an hour and a half.
All you do is lie on a Reiki table, fully clothed, close your eyes, take some deep breaths, and relax.
We do the rest...by following a series of hand positions, applying a very gentle touch, while we channel healing energy.
A Reiki session often leaves you feeling integrated, recharged, and restored.
Every Reiki session is different, but Reiki is consistently relaxing, soothing, calming, balancing, and healing.

Reiki session with either Janet or James (1-1.5 hour): includes Pre and Post discussion.
Home Office: $90
Extended session (1.5-2 hrs): $130
Reiki session with both Janet and James (1-1.5 hour):
Home Office: $110
Students under 21:
Reiki session for couples simultaneously:
Home Office: $130
45 minute Reiki session with Janet for people wanting to de-stress
with little time or on a lunch break:
Home Office: $60
Sessions at locations other than our home office will include travel expenses.
Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the price of your scheduled session.
